Don’t think: “If I had only joined that businesson the ‘ground level,’ then I would be rich,” or “If had only purchased a thousand shares of Microsoft, then I would be living the life of my dreams right now.” The reality is, you didn’t purchase that stock for a reason, and it’s because at that time in your life you hadn’t grown up into the person who makes those types of purchases. So you need not regret that decision. No Low Hanging Fruit There’s no “secret diet” that will give you the body of your dreams. You already know what you’re supposed to be eating. There’s no spouse that will allow you to have an amazing marriage filled with bliss… In order to have a great marriage, “you” will have to become the “type of person” who has a great marriage. You have to commit that nothing is more important than seeing and saying what you will become, to the exclusion of everything else. You have to begin to say who you want to be, and you have to declare how you’re going to get there. You have to speak and see your life the way you want it. You have to change your thinking, by first changing your words. Words You have to talk to yourself. Tell yourself whatyou should be thinking. There’s nothing wrong with that! You don’t mind letting the television talk to you; you let the media talk to you, and the news; why don’t you talk to yourself! Why don’t you say who you are, why don’t you say where you’re going. Why don’t you prophecy your own future. Don’t let statisticsand the results of your friends and family dictate where you go. Go where you want togo, do what you want to do, become who you want to become. And you do this by deciding to change the way you speak and the way you think.
