LIFE IS CRAZY! NEVER PLAY THE VICTIM.

Never play the victim. I repeat, never ever play the victim.
Let’s break it down.
You’ve just had the worst rejections of your life; your partner just walked out on you; your business just failed; you’ve just been sacked; your dream job/company don’t think you’re a right fit for them…and the list can go on and on.
Now, it’s natural to go ballistic and drive yourself insane, but, never play the victim.
A victim takes a look at situations and blames the other person. A victim never makes any demand on himself. A victim never takes responsibility for his/her life or his/her part in anything. A victim is a tired, sad and dead person inside.

And the part of a victim is one part I make a daily and conscious decision to never play.
The thing about rejection is this – it doesn’t kill you. Infact, the only thing left after a rejection, is growth. And that my friend, is the beauty of rejection.
Rejection makes you reflect on the wrong moves you made. It helps you define better what you want and the right tactics for getting it. Rejection is usually an end to an old dream and if you don’t play victim, the beginning of another beauty.
Think of rejection as a pruner. Or a lesson teacher. The next thing? – Growth!
Imagine if Brian Acton had played the sad, bitter victim after the major rejections from Twitter and Facebook that he experienced…no Whatsapp…no fantastic messaging app…no interesting narrative…nothing for facebook to pay 19 billion dollars for.
Nothing can kill you. Nada, zilch, nothing. If you don’t play victim, no rejection or problem can kill you.
Life is crazy! Never play “victim”. Grow.
